This load was developed with the Cast Performance 265gr WFNGC bullet. Recoil is easily manageable. This is from a 7.5" Bisley.

LFP 26.0 grH110 1,416 fps1.600" CCI LPM guest
This load uses the 265gr WFNGC from Cast performance. Recoil is tolerable.

LFP 27.0 grH110 1,475 fps1.600" CCI LPM guest
This load uses the 265gr WFNGC from Cast Performance. A VERY nice, but stout load. Only 9 fps variation over 5 shots. This is the pressures where this powder excels and becomes very stable ~ 30,000 CUP. This load will bag anything in the lower 48 with authority. Work up to this level slowly, and do not exceed this velocity. It’s on the upper fringe of chamber pressure for this cartidge when used in Rugers or equivalent.

Hodgdon 2006 manual used as reference. Gun: Ruger Vaquero 4 5/8" barrel, spread 27 FPS.

Potent handload for medium/large game using Cast Performance 265 Cast w/gas check. DO NOT use in SAA Colt or clones. For Ruger & heavy duty, large frame 45s.
