Rubber bullets for the 357m. use a regular case and enlarge the flash hole. prime, and seat the bullet in with your fingers. really quiet, and I was shooting them in my basement. they will work really well for practice in the winter, and could serve to scare some cats away as they are non-lethal. |

| What did you use for a bullet trap? Just an angled board into sand, or a snail type trap that is used for indoor 22's sometimes?
I haven't tried them, but you can do something simlar using wax bullets. Melt the wax out in a cookie sheet and use the cases to cut the projectile out. Hmmm, I wonder how well a bullet made from wax in a traditional bullet mold would work...
A couple more things to try out once the garage/shop is finished.

Bill jordan's book, no second place winner, he does talk about using wax bullets, and also show how to make a bunch of them quickly with a loading block. but I think that would be messier than the rubber bullets. I think your idea about the wax in a regular mold would be ok, just don't crimp too heavy, or use more than just a grain or two of powder. |

| Rubber bullets are nifty, but if you have a long barreled pistol they'll need a minor pinch of Bullseye to ensure they clear the barrel. Maybe 1.0 gr. or even less. |
